MS WATNA is a gearless single-decker motor freighter registered under the flag of the Slovak Republic and classified by the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS Inland). Constructed in 1963 at Gustavsburg, Germany — with bottom renewals completed in 1970 and 2000 — the vessel entered commercial operation under current management on 10 August 2024.
Owned by RIMOTA LTD and technically managed by Argentum Ship Management (USA LLC), MS WATNA is equipped with two grain-fitted cargo holds offering a combined grain volume of 2,295 m³ and a maximum cargo tonnage of 1,545 tonnes. Friese kap stacking hatches provide efficient, weathertight access across both holds. The vessel is approved for 80 TEU container stowage and holds a Dutch NIWO VHB permit for enhanced loading.

Grain, coal, sand, gravel, and fertilisers. Grain-fitted holds with sealed hatches — capacity up to 1,545 t / 2,295 m³ grain volume.
General Cargo
Breakbulk and palletised goods across both holds. Tank top rating 12 t/m². Gearless — shore crane required at load / discharge berth.
Steel Products
Coils, plates, and structural steel sections. Reinforced 12 mm floor plating. Securing points available; stowage plan subject to approval.
Project Cargo
Oversized and heavy-lift units up to hold aperture dimensions (32.45 × 9.05 m / 26.40 × 9.05 m). Shore gear required; case-by-case survey.
Containers
Up to 80 TEU capacity. ISO 20ft in single tier. Subject to lashing plan and 1.80 m hatch coaming height clearance confirmation.
Grain & Cereals
Grain-fitted vessel. Friese kap stacking hatches provide weathertight stowage. Cleaning certificate and grain fitness cert issued on request.
Cargo acceptance notes
MS WATNA is intended for dry bulk, general, steel, project and container cargoes. Dangerous goods, waste, livestock and bulk liquids are outside the vessel's standard acceptance. Final cargo suitability is confirmed by the owner and classification society before booking.
Rhine–Main–
Danube Corridor
MS WATNA holds the Dutch NIWO VHB permit (No 544603VXXX), confirming authorisation for enhanced-loading operations in Dutch inland waterways. Slovak flag and CRS Inland classification provide unrestricted access across the full Rhine–Main–Danube network from Rotterdam to Constanța — approximately 3,500 km. Home region: Bratislava and the Upper Danube.
